This guy has taken the hardest punches from some of the most powerful punchers in boxing like Pacquiao and Porodnikov. Idk how he stayed up from that punch Vargas threw. Any other fighter would have been on their arse. Too bad he couldn't land that ealier because Bradley made some terrible mistakes throwing wild punches, but even if he scored that knockdown Bradley would have won. Can't make that mistake ref. All in all good fight. Didn't expect Erik Morales to become a trainer.

Vargas needs to be 10 times more assertive in the rematch.

Without that last shot, its a runaway for bradley.

I don't think Vargas would have done much more to Bradley in the last 10 seconds. Bradley appeared to have his senses and would have covered and held Vargas to finish the fight. It was a bad mistake by the ref, but I don't believe the outcome would have been different if the the mistake had not been made.

That's the kind of mistake that should keep him from working a major fight ever again. I don't care how good he's been in the past, there's some things you shouldn't be allowed a second chance for

Holy shite, that was a shot. Sucks the ref messed up but Bradley was ok for that final 8 seconds.

True, but Vargas rocked bradley and he really had a shot at the KO. Pat is an old frick that needs to retire. Bradley's left eye was destroyed, even though bradley clearly won more rounds.

Not interested in a rematch because I thought Bradley won 9 rounds. It wasn't even that competitive for the majority of the second half of the fight. Yeah it was a good shot at the end of the 12th but what's his excuse for getting owned for pretty much the first 11 rounds?

And I don't see how Vargas would've finished Bradley. It's not like he was hammering him from the time he landed the punch to when the fight was stopped. All he did was follow Bradley around and then get tied up. That said, it was a horrible way for the fight to end.

Bradley needs to do a better job protecting his left eye. Takes too much damage there.

And Bradley is an idiot for resigning with Top Rank. It cost him a HUGE payday. He could have have gotten a shot at Mayweather had he not did that.

Just watched the replay, there definitely should be a rematch. Vargas needs to do what Morales tells him.

You're probably right. I saw him pull away from that last clinch and though he might have gotten one more good shot in. But Bradley clearly whipped him most of the fight.

I disagree. Bradley just made $1.5 million to fight Jessie Vargas. Plus, Bradley actually has input when it comes to his career. When a fighter signs with Haymon, they are giving up their freedom and letting Haymon determine EVERYTHING....purse, fight date, opponent, etc. And there's no guarantee he would have gotten a Mayweather fight. Floyd knows that fighting a black opponent doesn't sell like a fight against a white or hispanic opponent. Floyd has fought one black fighter in the last 9 years (Mosley).

Bradley is getting more money and better marketing with Bob Arum. Haymon and PBC are a sinking ship. He just put the "Battle of Ohio" at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas and they were giving away tickets and still had a ton of empty seats.
