The U conveniently left off the '92 Sugar Bowl.
Pony Excess was nothing more than a fluff piece. ESPN had Craig James on the payroll and let him look into the camera with his bullshite "aw shucks, if any thing wrong was going on I didnt know anything about it" crap. I'm not even saying ESPM should have made him answwer the questions honestly but they also shouldnt have allowed him to spew his spin job either.

Although, I liked his 30 for 30 flick okay, people were going to still remember him without it.
I don't think many people under the age of 20 know that much about him. He had a chance to be remembered like Jordan, Ruth, etc. 50 years from now when most of the people who saw him play die, not many people are going to talk about him

Survive and Advance is my favorite with the Reggie Miller a close second.

Run Ricky Run was the most in depth bio.

Catching Hell
The Two Escobars
The Best That Never Was
Pony Excess
The Marinovich Project
Roll Tide/War Eagle was meh for me... it was the Pawl Finebawm/Harvey Updyke Show.
You Don't Know Bo was meh for me because they didn't tell me anything I didn't know. I did know Bo. Nothing they presented was new to me. Meh.

Marcus Dupree was tough to beat. Thought it was awesome. The Roll Tide/War Eagle one was shite.

ESPN Films Presents
Other films were previously announced for the 30 for 30 series but were not included in the series. These films, which began airing in 2011, are a continuation of 30 for 30, dealing with more sports stories that 30 for 30 did not cover.

I liked the one about Steve Bartman... Catching Hell I think? I really feel bad for that guy. Biggest goat ever and no one gives a shite that the cubs choking was the reason they lost, not some fricking fan that caught a fly ball that may or may not have been caught.

Agreed - it bastardized the whole rivalry and focused too much on Cam and Harvey.
Bo Jackson was shot very well with the comic book/superhero angle... I also liked the pop culture period they showcased with his marketing and such... but I can imagine Auburn fans wouldn't be surprised by anything on there.

The U and the Auburn/Alabama ones were easily the worst of the bunch.
The U way overstated the U's dynasty and place in history, while at the same time not conveying how good they truly were. Sounds impossible to do, but that one was so shittily done they managed to do it.
The AU/Bama episode showed the Iron Bowl through a Jerry Springer lens. You could almost see the producers wink at the camera and say, "Go ahead, everybody. Let's all point and laugh at these backward Southerners."

Reggie miller
Pony express
Go Jackson
I like the U because this was around the time I was growing up and we all can admit we liked their swagger when we watched on TV its the behind the scenes we didn't like or relate too.

I kind of felt the same way and I was arguably the biggest Bo Jackson fan growing up (but I think most of us were, that happen to be my age)...anyway, I think that SEC Storied episode about Herschel Walker was very comparable and just as interesting as the Bo 30f30.
Since I've left this thread and thought about it, the Reggie Miller one was surprisingly awesome to me. I was in High School at the time, and somehow let that whole ordeal slip my memory. Those events were pretty huge though, as they were happening.
I feel pretty much the same as almost everyone else about the U. It was awesome for it's nostalgia, but by 30f30 standards it doesn't rank anywhere close to the top IMHO.
After glancing at this list again....
10. June 17, 1994
9. Elway to Marino
8. Jordan Rides the Bus
7. Run Ricky Run
6. Once Brothers
5. The Two Escobars
4. Without Bias
3. Reggie Miller vs Knicks
2. The Best That Never Was
1. Survive and Advance
It's tough to rank all of these really. Just based on how I feel at this moment.

The Two Escobars was fascinating and I don't care about soccer.
Also liked Marcus DuPree and SMU.

I thought it was more, nobody knew because they were having race riots on their campus.

All of them are really well done, but my favorites are The U, The Pony Excess, and the Reggie Miller one.
I love those. Was young, had no idea shite like that went on in College Football. Was mostly into the NFL. I can remember Miami being really good but didn't know about the type of players they had.
