probably the Two Escobars. I don't really even like soccer either but that doc obviously transcends beyond the sport.
The Best that Never Was kind of got me down. I found the story interesting but in the end, when they showed Dupree looking at those old highlight clips, I felt sorry for him.
the one about Auburn and Alabama was boring. I mean, I guess it was more suited to those outside of Alabama. But I didn't learn anything new from watching it and thought it was cheesy. The guy playing the piano, Sweet Home Alabama

Was that one about the A&M loss to ULL in 1996?

That wasn't a 30 for 30.
I really enjoyed Pony Excess, Two Escobars, Survive and Advance, and 9.79

I liked it more than the Elway to Marino one myself and I thought that one was going to be the most interesting one I saw.

My personal favorites were The Two Escobars and Benji.

Survive and Advance and The Two Escobars are by far the best ones.
The U gets its love here because swag circling jerking is popular with the college aged fgts here. There was no story then they hammered Butch Davis for no reason when he actually brought the program back to life.

The "I'm an under appreciated college athlete" bullshite in both the U and Fab Five(I'm pretty sure wasn't 30 for 30) made me sick. Best That Never Was was most interesting IMO

4 days in October was good. Frick the Yankees.

I can count on one hand how many times I've shed a tear in the last 25 years...The Best That Never Was would be in that number. When he was talking about his brother, I couldn't help it.

VERY surprised that no one has mentioned Unguarded-the Chris Heren story. I never get done watching that one with a dry eye.

Elway to Marino was excellent, IMO.
Seeing the backstories of how the players in that draft were selected and where they are now was well done.

I think Survive and Advance has taken the cake for me.
To whoever said "Bo Jackson fap fest," why? Does it really get a lot of love on here?
And I was a big Bo Jackson fan growing up and the 30 for 30 was nice and nostalgic and everything, but it doesn't even rank in my top, shite probably 7 or more. That element of tragedy doesn't really compare to a say Marcus Dupree, or several of the other heart breakers

I loved the Chris Heren story too, but I didn't think it was a 30f30. Thought it was just an ESPN films special during the 30 for 30 layoff.
