"Moving along to game four of the 92' finals, Jordan pulled in 32 points off 26 shots. Out of the 26 shots he took, he made good on 11. The kicker is that he had five turnovers and couldn't score the last 10 minutes and thirty seconds of the game.

Even Jordan couldn't be clutch all of the time.

Now we have arrived at the 93' NBA finals Game three, once again Jordan pulled in 44 points on a whopping 43 shots! Out of the 43 jacked up, he only made good on 19.

The cherry on top is that Michael only hit one of 10 shots in the fourth quarter.

MJ not looking so God-like anymore is he?

The 96' finals were by far in my opinion the worst of Michael's career.

In game two, Michael took 22 shots posting 29 points, making good on only nine of those shots. To start the third quarter, Michael would miss seven straight shots and he will miss six free-throws for the game.

In game four, Michael would have yet another bad game, scoring 23 points on 19 shots making good on only six of those. He only had three rebounds and two assists to add to that.

"Oh I'm just warming up.

In game six, Jordan's close out performance was very uninspiring to say the least, again scoring 22 points on 19 shots making good on just five of those shots this time around.

He would go on to add five turnovers to that. A good point to remember is that, this is his third bad game in the same finals series." LINK Link is to bleacher report so you may not want to click on it
Just so it doesnt get lost on the bottom of the page

every great team has a role player step up and make a big play. LeBron made both good plays and passive plays at the end of the game, but game winners aren't only hit by Top 50 players. Look at Kerr,Paxson,Horry, etc.

Also, you're talking about Ray Allen- a HOFer with or without his extended career as a role player, who did more than just hit a winning bucket, guy was near the ball almost all the time at the end.

Would that change the narrative on LeBron? maybe a little, but he had a triple double in an elimination game. He's a top 10 player regardless of last night's outcome (or game 7 for that matter).

only on the MSB can the guy who goes for 32 pts, 10 rebs, 11 assist be outplayed by the guy who shoots 3/8 for 9 pts 1 reb and 2 assists

Ray Allen saved the day but its still a team game. I think his legacy would have been tarnished by losing 2 NBA Finals.

true, but he has already lost 2 finals

One with the Cavs, one with the Heat

What is Jordan's legacy if Steve Kerr doesn't hit 8,000 3 pointers? What about Kobe if Shaq is not there? This is the stupiest topic and point I have ever seen.

Who cares? Jordan lost 5 playoff series without even making the finals. Is that better since he lost earlier?

He's playing overall well, even the greatest finals performers had bad nights. Lebron is tired, but that isn't an excuse that he's "out of shape". He's averaging 42 minutes a game through 23 games since the start of the playoffs, that's a hefty number for someone who hustles on both ends of the floor.

Heat got the win, Lebron got a triple double, and he's one win away from becoming a 2-peater. At the moment, I'm just enjoying one more game of basketball for the season.

He'd still have 6 titles because they would have closed it out anyways?

GOAT talk was going on after his first 3 peat as well.

that would have been a very desperate 3 point attempt with that much time left.

Would have been a wild shot for sure.

Means he will never be in the conversation with the GOAT because of 3 Finals defeats.

Magic Johnson lost 4 finals I believe. And no one questions him. This thread is retarded and should be deleted.

Paxon hit a game winner for the bulls to win. Should prolly discount that ring for Jordan.

Also should discount Jordan's ring that he won with the pushoff against Utah.

Meh, Jordan couldn't do it himself, he isn't even top 10 in my book.....
