This entire thread is gold

I mean basically what this writer is saying is that OSU would be competing with the top teams in all the other conferences, something most of us already knew. I mean 2nd or 3rd in the Pac 12, maybe the difference is where the games are played, or time off etc. Same for the SEC; you look at the league historically and teams who have a bye week obviously play better the next week, so Bama may have lost to A&M if they didn't have a bye week (who knows).

I honestly have no idea how a battle royal between LSU/UGA/A&M/OSU would play out...I think there would be a ton of points scored, and no idea right now who has the best defense of those teams. I think A&M has the worst D, but probably the best O...the other 2 I have no idea about

Big -12. They lose a game but would be the best overall team in the conference.

ACC 3rd Behind Clemson and FSU[too much speed].

SEC. In the East I see them 3rd. Behind UGA and FLA[but close there].

In the West. 4th. Bama ,LSU, and T & M are better.

This is pretty accurate but I think OSU is better than Florida. Florida obviously has the D to make some stops but I don't think they completely shut OSU down and UF doesn't have enough fire power to outscore them

I wonder, is this based on past OSU teams? I mean the D-line OSU has now, has 2 guys who were ranked as top 3 DEs in the country, and would be balling anywhere in America. The starting DTs had offers from a lot of big time schools, and the backups were highly rated as well.

It can't be at the skill positions, because OSU has always churned out skill position guys at DB, WR, S and RB

In all seriousness...

In a comparison done with

tOSU's winning streak the last two years

...and

Boise States 2-year streak in 2009-10...

BSU's strength of schedule was actually higher... Based on more ranked teams they played.

And you were one of those who bagged on BSU along with Slow - saying they weren't deserving of a title shot.

But now tOSU is?

This is real - not imagined.

The only difference is your school name...

Shouldn't the most deserving teams play - and not which teams "are on a win streak" or have a better pedigree than Boise State?

Hypocrisy from tOSU fans, not surprised.
