tOSU would win or finish second in SEC
Win the ACC
Win the AAC
Win Pac12

They're that good they have the speed and depth to beat anyone. They have a backup QB that 10 Sec teams would kill for.
They roll backs through and they play an offense that's already won SEC multiple times

People act as they have no speed or depth and SEC teams are full of Usain Bolt's.

They are as good as any SEC team and they are not same I formation team.

People also forget that tOSU would've have been in BCSNCG over Alabama last year.

And this statement goes to show why your argument doesn't hold water.

ND/OSU = Tight game that could go either way.

Either vs Bama would be exactly the game we saw.

You know, the Ohio State that is extremely overrated every single year and doesn't deserve their ranking at all.

Oh, that one. Yep, that pretty much sums it up

No, they don't.

They deserve to be in the national championship game if they are one of the two best teams in the country. And they aren't.

Not even close. This is nonsense. Their defense is suspect and their offense is one-dimensional. Buffalo traveled to tOSU and lost 20-40. Buffalo then traveled to Baylor and lost 13-70. The following week Buffalo played Stony Brook and put up fewer points in regulation against Stony Brook than they did against tOSU. Marinate on that for a second.

tOSU would definitely get beat by UGA.
tOSU would definitely get beat by LSU
tOSU would definitely get beat by TAMU
tOSU would definitely get beat by BAMA
tOSU would likely get beat by Florida
tOSU would likely get beat by South Carolina
tOSU would likely get beat by Ole Miss

(2)
tOSU would definitely get beat by Clemson
tOSU would likely get beat by FSU, and that's a likely and not a definitely only because I don't trust Jimbo Fisher.

(3)
Congratu-fricking-lations.

(4)
Are you actually retarded or are you pulling an elaborate troll job? If you think for a second that tOSU would beat Oregon, you should start punching yourself in the face. You deserve it.

Isn't Ohio State 6-3 in BCS games with losses to two national champions and a 1-loss Texas team that would have played for the national championship if not for a Crabtree touchdown in Lubbock with 1 second left? In the Fiesta Bowl wasn't that one of Tressel's worst squads relinquishing the lead to Texas with less than 20 seconds left after a dubious 4th and 3 conversion and a blown coverage from the 26 yard line?

In Ohio State's last three BCS bowls, haven't they held three high-powered, super-duper-athletically speedy-fast offenses to their lowest or second lowest point totals on the season? And didn't the greatest-all-time-Olympic-athlete-littered-would-beat-bottom-half-of-the-NFL 2002 Miami Hurricanes need a 40-yard field goal as time expired just to force overtime where the controversial pass interference penalty took place? Odd that the most athletic-explosive-fast team to ever suit up scored its season low point total and needed its least athletic member to tie the game against the slow-overmatched-talent-deficient Buckeyes.

Love the Oregon fans' indignant certitude, though. Echoes of the 2010 Rose Bowl.

I'm a big Braxton Miller fan and Ohio State would have every chance of beating us but this Ohio State team is not the 2010 team with an absolute beast defensive line led by Cameron Heyward. And Masoli was a horrible passer. We've upgraded significantly across the board and especially at QB.

FWIW, Ohio State has 10-plus 4 and 5 star players on the d-line, along with some productive 3-stars including a converted OG who is 6'5 330ish.

Also Ohio State has a coach who has had immediate success in four different conferences, owns one of the best all-time coaching winning percentages, has won two national championships, and put countless players in the NFL.

You have a first-year head coach taking over a program known for its unstoppable offense... that bogs down against elite opponents.

Hell, even as a big favorite in the Rose Bowl against Wisconsin, victory wasn't secured until a very unlikely fumble recovery inside your 30 with Wiscy facing 1st and 10 with a chance to tie. Meanwhile, as favorite against Ohio State, you lost outright.

I'll wait to the season's end before considering this Oregon team better than what we've seen before.

These threads make me smile.

OSU has everybody so concerned they can't stop talking about them, I love it.

We would win the SEC east I'm pretty confident of it. SEC west we would probably have a 3 way tie with LSU and Bama I think. A&M has no fricking defense, and people think they'd stomp OSU? It would be an absolute shoot out but I think we get one more stop. Likely losing to ole miss? God, just stop.

PAC would be interesting. Would be 2nd to Oregon I think. We would match up great with Stanford. UCLA would be a fun game too.

ACC we beat FSU and maybe lose to Clemson. Boyd v Braxton Would be sweet.

Win the b1g and big12.

OSU is getting better every week. Our front 7 is so young but getting a ton better. Secondary has been a disappointment. Offense has been rolling until we started playing tresselball in the 4th quarter last week.

There's literally no matchup that I would be concerned with. Our offense is still growing and our dline will keep us in any game. Ceiling is really high for this team.

Pac12 - I think OSU can play Oregon tough and win that game; OSU has the line and LBers to stop a running game and physical corners who will come up and tackle (see Roby and Barnett vs the run game vs. Wisky. Anyone who watched that Wisky game knows the score was closer than the game since OSU went into win mode, not blow out mode in the 4th quarter. Stanford is an interesting matchup to me; not as good at running the ball as Wisky, but an improved passing game, much more balanced as a team. Not sure how that plays out honestly

SEC - The elite defenses of the past aren't really there this year (UF and Bama are good but not great - UF bc of injuries only though). OSU could score a lot of points against USCe, A&M, UGA and LSU. I don't know if they win, but a lot of games would prob turn into UGA/LSU or A&M/Bama where it is who blinks first. So anywhere from 1st - 4th in that conference or so IMO

ACC - I think OSU plays both the top teams tough, and could win both. If it's bowl game prep, I think OSU has a better chance, although Winston and Boyd aren't SO different skill-set wide than Miller

People keep saying 5 teams from the SEC would be favored against OSU in a game. 1st, did they watch the defense in the UGA/LSU game? I know the QBs are good but those WRs were wide open often. So I have no idea how anyone knows how a UGA/OSU game ends

On a sidenote, has Oregon ever beaten a marquee team that has a great defensive line? Hard for me to take them seriously when the key to shutting them down is pressure with your front.
