He can start by winning the finals MVP for all 6 championships, oh wait..

Or just not go 2-4 in the finals...

Curry's first Finals appearance:
44.3/38.5/88.5 - 42.5 MPG
26.0 points, 5.2 rebounds, 6.3 assists, 4.7 turnovers, 1.8 steals, 0.2 blocks

Absolutely nothing to be ashamed about with that performance ,but its somewhat telling Curry got 0 MVP votes .

Guarded by Dellevadova( did not shut Curry down) who almost became an NBA legend if the Cavs win.

Imagine Gary Payton hand checking , forearm checking , body checks & actually being able to contest a jumper without being call for a foul . Or Curry not being able to simply lollygag down the lane untouched.

Yes, " get off of my lawn " with this Curry GOAT stuff.

Jordan put up all his stats while being practically mauled by the likes of the Pistons, Knicks, Pacers, and Celtics, just to name a few.

This is well chronicled.

mauled or not he was a way better scorer than Curry.

This is Curry's 1st season where he averaged 30 point IF he finishes with his current average.

MJ's career average is above 30 and he took 2 season off in his prime and played 2 seasons past his prime.

Different / better all around player than a spot up shooter like Reggie.

Curry reminds me of Hersey Hawkins.

Hawkins was 6'3 190 ish ,but a bit sturdier physically averaging 37ppg & was College player of the year in 1988 at Bradley.

Hawkins was >>>>>>>>>>>>> than Curry as a College player .

Hawkins was basically a 50/40/90 guy in the NBA with his peak seasons over 20ppg.

Hawkins only averaged about 4 3 point attempts / game while Curry is averaging nearly 8 per game ( shooting 10 this season).

Under today's no contact rules & more acceptance of the 3 point shot I think Hawkins would absolutely flourish .

No way Hawkins or Curry 'dominate' the large guards with the physical rules of Hawkins era

He'll probably have to win 6+ championships, finish as a top-5 all-time leading scorer, and frick Michael Jordan's daughter on camera.

LeBron would have to be magically erased from the annals of basketball history.

Yet they somehow managed to get NBA Finals MVP votes while you & I.............?

Bill Russell didn't always score the most points ,but was considered the Celtics MVP to people actually watching.

Iguodala was perhaps the only thing to stop LeBron from running roughshod over the Warriors & dragging Dellevadova & JR Smith to a Championship.

My only point .

Curry was a borderline all star who only managed to warrant a 4 year $44 million dollar contract from the Warriors when he resigned.

Iguadola wrested the MVP despite Curry being guarded by Dellevadova with the no contact rules today.

Now we are in GOAT territory after 2 seasons?
