Watching the Yankees game I am hearing it.

Seems like every northern school uses it, and from what I gather, Penn State is credited with bringing it to college football in 2005. When did it become so ubiquitous?

Any Southern schools use it?

You may not know it by name, but it is the "Oh, OH, oh, oh, ooooh, oh" chant.

Penn State crowd chanting it v. Alabama in 2011

Too many. It's spread like Jock Jam syphilis.

No disrespect to Jack White - who, to his credit hasn't bitched about royalties.

A bunch of teams use it all over. I think for many it's usage is random. It's just a chant

Penn State did it like 1000 times when we played them back in 2009. That's really the first time I remember it being big

The Jags use the "Bro Hymn" by pennywise. It's much better and more original.

Soccer stadiums in Europe started the Seven Nation Army chant back in the day. Penn State was first college to use it. As far as Bro Hymn Columbus Crew used to use that after every score at home.

Penn State started all this in the late 2000's - they did it against Ohio State.

That 2005 Penn State crowd watching on TV vs. OSU is the best crowd I've ever seen. Maybe the best on TV college football experience I've ever seen.

Nobody sitting on their hands or booing bad plays...just everyone jumping like a college basketball section all game.
