What sport takes the most athletic ability in your opinion?

I am going to say Hockey.
Balance--They do things on ice skates that some have trouble doing on solid ground on their feet
Strength/Power--Taking hits, giving hits, wearing of equipment
Hand Eye Coordination--Try shooting/passing a puck or skating a puck without losing it
Endurance--Constant sprint for 45 to 60 seconds multiple times in relatively small amount of time

Tennis is up there, though I guess you can get power from equipment/technique.

I don't know about sport ,but NFL Cornerback is the most physically & psychologically demanding position in all of pro sports.

Football takes the most ability in every category. It is the most complex and demanding sport in the world, and it is the best sport in the world.

I'll say soccer hands down and will get slaughtered. Easier to sub in and out in other sports.

He probably can't even skate.

Basketball hands down
I think there are two distinct ways to view this. If we're discussing what professional sport has the most athletes, the answer is basketball. However, I'm not sure if the sport itself requires you to be much of an athlete. There are some goofballs cherrypicking in gyms across America.
To put it another way, I think NBA players would be the most successful if asked to play other sports at an elite level, but nearly anyone can play basketball.

You can't be so generic discussing the NFL. The NFL is much more position specific.

So fatigue/stamina is your only argument? There are other athletic traits required for sports.

To play at a high level, basketball.

Boxing. You need incredible endurance and durability along with great physical attributes such as power and strength. Their training regimen is crazy. Roy Jones used to run for five miles every morning when he was training for a fight. Mike Tyson used to 2000 squats, 500 pushups, 500 triceps extensions and 500 neck crunches every day. Boxing is the most athletically demanding sport out there IMO.
