Wasn't swaggercopter the guy who also called Brook Lopez a bust?

He doesn't know the definition of the word bust.

Bryce Harper is mashing

Reading comprehension not your strong suit? Nowhere did I call Harper a bust. And I said Jahlil Okafor would be a bust because his ceiling is Robin Lopez, which in my opinion is way less than many are expecting out of him.

If I'm an NBA GM and someone from the future tells me a player has a ceiling of Robin Lopez, I'm not taking him #1 overall. I will take my chance at finding a future Hall-of-Famer with the #1 overall pick.

This dude was not hyped up to be 30th in OPS in the majors. Clearly, he needs to improve. The question is whether or not he will improve.

Assuming no more major injuries is it really a question that he'll improve at 21 years old?

Plenty of athletes peak at young ages. It's why it's always so hard to predict how athletes will do at the next level, whether that's college or pro. A lot of times, when an athlete is really elite, other players mature and grow to catch up to them.

Harper is fricking mashing at the moment. Not only that, but he busts his arse on and off the field so he;s definitely going to keep improving.

Here's what people on the MSB thought about him is a prospect: LINK /

I think it's all about expectations. Yes, Trout is better. So what? That doesn't make Harper a bust in any shape or form. If you thought he's the next Griffey, you're disappointed, but that's mainly your fault for having outsized expectations.

Harper is damn good.

You have no idea what a bust is and your expectations make you sound like a 13 year old.

Given their vastly different skill sets, I'm confused as to how you could say Okafor's ceiling is R. Lopez?

People around here don't like the way he plays, which is asinine. I'd take 9 players with his attitude every day of the week.
