I only get to listen to a brief part of their show in the morning, but I like the daily headlines they do in the beginning of the show...it gives me a good review of what has happened in the sports world.

Moscona is cowherd lite but he lacks cowherd's self deprecating humor. Moscona needs to learn how to troll but not be a dick about it. You can be smart on the radio, but it is up to us to say you are smart. You can't say it about yourself and not come across as smug
I would suggest he find a likable side kick, moscona is SVP & Russillo without the SVP component. Russillo is good but he is very dry. Moscona is also very dry and sometimes it feels like he is lecturing to us and not entertaining us

I miss back when Moscona first got his show and he would read on the show basically anything you texted him no matter what it was since his audience wasn't that big.

His absence. I don't think he was always this way, but he is an absolute curmudgeon now and it makes his show unlistenable. Then he brings on Richard the Assclown and it just devolves into a battle of hyperbole and absolutely wrong statements.

Pretty much. I actually feel bad because I know he's had a tough year, but the show is just awful. I won't wish for anyone to get fired, but I wish I had decent sports talk for my ride home.

oddly enough when he first started out his show was a breath of fresh air for BR radio....he's just since devolved into a typical BR sports show.
and when he does actually get a good guest, he's a God awful interviewer. He tries to force the conversation like they've been buddies for years and it comes off as just awkward.

To be fair, how many people listen for 3 straight hours? The most I ever catch is 20-30 minutes after work, then another 20-30 or so going home from the gym. At least an hour apart between.

I've been listening to sports today the last couple months and it's probably my fav La sports radio show
though Ott's whining can be annoying
and since today is Thursday, that moron friend of his will be on to chime in every 15 minutes with some dumb comment to justify having him on

He's the worst, how he came to be their NFL expert I'll never know. It was one thing to allow him on to Jimmy's old show but I don't understand why he's back on this one. He's awful and brings nothing to the table.

A good host? His attitude toward callers that have a different opinion than him is unacceptable. The shows where he sends a half hour bitching about being right about something are awful.
Morning driver is 1000000x better. I enjoy the digs the morning drive takes at matt and how he is such a diva. Example the Doug Thompson interviews

I work in New Orleans two weeks out of each month and on those weeks I have to listen to fricking 100.3 and that retard on Nola ESPN radio. I don't know who he is but he's so so so incredibly bad I don't know why they don't just merge the Baton Rouge/Nola markets.
104.9 talks a lot of LSU, but they also spend a good bit of time on the Saints and Pelicans.
You guys complaining about Moscona don't know how decent you have it until you hear that tripe in Nola on 100.3.
