I listen to him a good bit and enjoy it at times. Matt seems like a good guy and I can't imagine going through what he and his family have gone through.

That being said, his show just seems to need a jolt. His guests always seem boring and he talks about irrelevant stuff (to me) too much. When it's April, I don't need to hear weekly, hour long conversations with Mike D about the Saints. I don't need Feinswog every week either.

Does anyone else ever feel like his show could just use a new breath of life, in a sense? The other local shows on 104.9 just seem fresher.

Again, I'm not knocking Matt. I just wish his show was a little better. Lord knows I couldn't do what he does though

He needs a co-host.

His show is decent [I believe Morning Drive is the best on ESPNBR]. But sometimes Moscona seems to come off too smug.

He needs Innes back. They had a magic connection.

I agree that The Morning Drive is the best but I dont need Corey Webster every.single.Monday.

If Moscona got a co-host, who would be a good one?

It's the NFL offseason and LSU spring. Off course this time of the year will be boring for sports talk. LSU Football and Saints is what drives callers in South Louisiana

No clue. Possibly someone younger than him. I enjoy when Hunt Palmer comes on the air with reports. But I don't know if he's interested in being a radio personality.

On a different note, Sports Today has been slipping lately.

That's one of my favorite segments. Who doesn't want to hear NFL talk in April? Especially with the draft around the corner.

Well no shite, Sports Today is what, a year old? And Morning Drive just started a couple months ago.

Moscona's segments with Theriot are a joke. He seems like a good guy though. I listen to him when I can, but I enjoy Louisiana sports talk.

He needs a co-host and needs to put his show down to 2 hours. I'd be terrified to talk for 3 straight hours. He basically starts repeating himself.

Also, he said something recently that if it was up to him, he'd talk about MMA and beer all show. I get the feeling that the show is just a job for him, and he's not really passionate about the job and all LSU sports in general.

I like his show. I think he's very capable of running a one man show. I do enjoy when he has Theriot on, because baseball is, by far, Matt's biggest weakness. Moscona's biggest strength is he gives the guests the floor while still maintaining control over the program.

he ruined the segments with theriot by trying way too hard. Its now just matt overreacting to anything theriot says too force banter,

His variety of topics are too narrow so he re-hashes and restates things to fill time. I can understand it, if he only wants to cover specific things, he has to fill 3 hours somehow.

What really gets me is he fricking eats when he's supposed to be talking.

I would rather Ott by himself or even Songy before these dopes... They try way too hard.........

His knowledge is limited.

Rather debate stale topics than cover a wider range of sports. Definitely needs a cohost to hide his deficiencies.

The most ringing endorsement for Morning Drive so far.

Culotta & The Prince are making him sound awful, by comparison .. They have great guests and both have sports backgrounds that he doesn't have .. He's just not the big cheese anymore and they have stopped pimping him as such for a reason ..
