I know Pop said he won't say , but what are they doing defensively against him and why is it working? Obviously Lebron makes up for his lack of scoring so far by getting his teammates wide open looks.
How much of an impact has the long series against the Pacers had on the Heat, if at all?

Let's get some defensive minds in here
And people need to keep in mind that the Heat really only need one of these two games.

Fan's tip for Lebron

I know, I know MORE LEBRON THREADS!

Backing off of LeBron and letting him shoot outside shots.

They are keeping him from driving the lane and forcing him to take outside shots, same as in 2007. /thread

LeBron is shooting 52/211 (24.6%) outside the restricted area through 18 career NBA Finals games.

Lebron isn't being aggressive enough, period. The dude is a 4 time MVP and gets over 27 ppg regularly. The fact that he only has 6 free throw attempts in 3 games should tell you enough. He is not playing aggressive. Even Danny Green said last night that it isn't about what they are doing. It's just like Jason Terry and Shawn Marion 2 years ago. They played good D but they can't stop Lebron when he's aggressive. No one in the league can.

And the fact that he got 11 rebounds and 5 assists is moot because it did nothing to help his team win. There's no spinning his performance just like there wasn't any spinning it two years ago. No, MJ wouldn't have done this shite.

this is a good point, he may be too concerned about getting his teammates involved and it's hurting his game. then again, if they can start hitting their shots like in game 2 the Heat will win the series.

No, MJ wouldn't have done this shite.
except that he did.

MJ had a 5 of 19, 23/2/2 stat line in an nba final once upon a time.

That's basically the same as 7 or 21, 15/11/5.

Yeah that's one of the questions I had, how much of it is him not being aggressive and how much of it is good D by the Spurs.

He's also playing horrific defense and sleep walking around the floor. Basically getting owned on both ends. James is a head case.

Did he ever have an eight point game on 3/11 shooting while completely avoiding the ball in the fourth quarter? That game came during a three game stretch in which he average 14 ppg on 38% shooting. In his prime.

Did MJ ever average 16 ppg on less than 40% shooting in the first three games of the Finals while the alpha dog of his team? In his prime.

We all know MJ had off games. He didn't have the lapses in courage like LeBron does.

None of that is what you previously said.

What you previously said was incorrect.
