he would have been good but he only won his MVP because the league was tired of giving it to lebron

Ehh their stats that year were really close having just looked at them. I think he deserved it. Lebron fatigue probably played a factor but he was still amazing.

he had a great year. but lebrons was better.

drose in 2011:
25.0/7.7/4.1
44.5 FG% 48.5 eFG% .550 TS%
23.5 PER 113 ORtg 103 DRtg .208 WS/48

lebron in 2011:
26.7/7.0/7.5
51 FG% 54.1 eFG% 59.4 TS%
27.3 PER 116 ORtg 102 DRtg .244 WS/48

derrick definitely had a strong year that year. but lebrons was just better and he should have won the MVP

Yeah Lebrons stats are slightly better but shite like

quote:

The All-Star guard made or assisted on at least half of the Bulls' field goals in 26 games, the highest such total for any NBA player this season.

is the reason Rose won.....and the Lebron fatigue of course. LeCry actually finished 3rd.

Until people figured out how good of a coach Thibs was.

The Bulls have fallen off a cliff without Thibs there.

Have you even watched? Derrick Rose is a shell of his former self, although better as of late. Noah never recovered from his off-season knee surgery before last year. Taj is getting old and regressing. Snell never developed. Dunleavy hasn't played a single minute this year. Pau and Butler were the only consistent players and now Butler sprained his knee.

Thibs ran these players into the ground.

2 years ago he had MVP votes and now he is garbage. Thibs made him and then broke him.

His style of play made it inevitable. What made him great made him injured.

Dwight was better than both of them and should've been MVP.

Rose won basically because he had the best surrounding cast that actually knew how to play with each other from the beginning of the season.

Though I suppose you could make the argument that he did as much to improve his team as any other MVP winner if you ignore his defensive numbers.

Offensive ON/OFF differential of past ten MVP winners:

'16 Curry (obviously going to win): +16.4 Pretty sure this would be some kind of record
'10 LeBron: +15.3
'07 Dirk: +14.6
'15 Curry: +14.3
'09 LeBron: +13.0
'12 LeBron: +12.4
'13 LeBron: +11.9
'11 Rose: +10.1
'15 Durant: +9.0
'08 Kobe: +6.2
