Westbrook busting his arse for an offensive rebound, then missing a layup while not passing to a wide open teammate in the post may be a perfect microcosm of this quarter

This again

He hates that particular local reporter. That's it. That's the entire story. Anyone else could have asked that question and he answers it honestly and professionally.

Would love to have Westbrook on the Mavs, & so would anyone in that organization. It willl never happen though, esp with Cuban playing those media mind games w/ him

I can see this side too cuz there's some hacks in the Portland media too. They stir shite every chance they get.

I don't know how okc fans deal with Westbrook. He's such a little bitch

And a ball hog

Good riddance

I understand saying this after the 4th quarter, but did you see the 3rd? THAT is why people are westbrook fans

No he doesn't because the question wasn't directed towards him.

Westbrook is a freaking warrior. He has his flaws, but there's a reason guys in the league respect him so much. I feel like they would overwhelmingly vote him MVP (if they took it seriously).

The question was about him, to another player sitting directly next to him. I'm no Russ homer, and would have thought this was a complete dick move had I not seen other interviews where Russ plainly states he doesn't like the guy.

Plus OKC fans here and dozens on Reddit have said the guy is a hack.

Doesn't mean the question was not valid.

Local media is the fricking worst. They always ask the dumbest fricking questions and are always looking for something controversial to write about. It's the same in Nashville.

This was not one of those instances.

Multiple former players and personnel have said he's a pain in the arse in the room

Every time he gets the ball he shoots. No wonder he has 30 a game. He shoots it 50 times

Not a team player. He will never win a title. Someone has to score the points

Not saying the question isn't legit. But if someone I don't like is asking questions about me to someone sitting right next to me, I might chime in as well.

Plus, it's just not that big of a deal. Players are dicks to local media all the time.

Jordan and Kobe were hated as well in the locker room. Westbrook still has a lot of bball left in him. He will get a title imo but not at OKC.

I think it's a dumb question because it's obvious. Everyone is looking for a quote instead of asking something that could generate an insightful response.

It's obvious they suck when he's on the bench.

In the regular season, I believe 95% of Adams' minutes were with Westbrook on the floor. That doesn't really affect the way Westbrook responded, but Adams isn't even the guy that question should be directed towards.
