Hell, Alabama has even turned down a CBI invite in the last few years. I would turn it down as well. Do they even show the games on TV?

I don't get the Tom Crean hate. He can be a dick, he can be smug, but he has definitely turned that program around. He took Marquette to a higher level. I am not saying he is on the level of a Coach K, but people here turn their hate into a shitty opinion about his ability to coach.

Count me in the group that doesn't have a problem with that stance. They're historically a great program. Don't reward mediocrity. Maintain high expectations.

I'm sure the players wanted to play it. they could use the per diem. its a ton if they travel for any games.
