Sleeper - Cameron Tringale (5/5 with 3 top 10s)
really likes this course but has played better earlier in the year rather than of late....

I'm liking Ryan Palmer and CHIII out of the less-appreciated grouping of players.

Also curious to see how Finau plays a week after his first win, exceptional talent.

I've been waiting for Finau to break through. I knew it was just a matter of time so yes it will be interesting to see how he responds after getting that first win. Are you doing your spreadsheet this week?

before the course went private three or so years ago, it had the absolute best deal on golf in the city ... you could use their range/practice facility all day for $15 ... range balls were all titleist nxt, unlimited ... beautiful hitting area with level ground and accurate yardages ... even put in range finders on a stand a few years ago ... immaculate chipping/bunker area with pristine sand with plenty of range balls and 2 green sweepers ... could hit pitch shots of 30 yards ... putting green was huge, smooth and extremely fast ...

Stenson is trending and rounding back to form it may be his week this week. I'm still waiting for Spieth to get out his funk...

With Phil's and Tringale's records here, do you like their matchups?

Fully expect to see both Phil and Tringale have great weeks. Phil was matched up with Reed and DJ though so nothing there for me. Tringale finished top 5 each of the last two years.

I have never been to a tournament but would like to go. I see general admission is around $35. Is this basically the people walking/standing behind the ropes?

Yeah. That'll get you in. Walk around and watch a bunch of guys hit. Don't sit on hole the whole time.

You'll enjoy it.

Yeah man it seems like how I would want to do it anyway, at least for my first one.

I've got 4 GA passes for tomorrow. If anyone wants to brave the elements and go out there, they're yours.

Watched the replay of last year's final round last night on Golf Channel. Johnson Wagner is one of the most entertaining players to watch when he is in contention. When he sank that 25 footer to tie Holmes/Spieth at -16 on the final hole before playoff was so legit.

Pulling for him so that way he gets to play the Masters
