phil could win another masters or british quite easily ...

Letting Vaughn Taylor win last weekend was all part of Phil's plan to make The Masters field even easier than it already is.

I played Sunday afternoon but watched the rerun Sunday night - Vaughn made the run when it counted.
His wife nearly broke down...it is tough supporting your family as a PGA Tour player not in the top 100ish or so...always fighting...always grinding for every shot.
I was pulling for Phil but happy to see Vaughn win. I'll be pulling for Phil again this week (he is playing right?).

Yeah. That was a great scene Sunday.
Great place for him to win.

Hello Friends,
With Feherty moving to NBC, and Faldo getting more air time, CBS is almost becoming unwatchable.

Hello Friends
I hate Jim Nantz. His schtick is so tired.
Faldo is alright but I find him dull.

He pretty much gave Paddy Harrington 2 majors.

In case you missed it....Inside The PGA Tour this week was great....it featured Smylie Kaufman.
DVR it or catch it if you can.

Needs to start golfing his ball. We need him in the Ryder Cup but he hasn't played well in a while.

Rolling with Rose this week

I have been thinking that Rose is due again after New Orleans last year....

Was tempted to put some DJ bets in as a dog against Spieth/McIlroy but couldn't pull the trigger. DJ's course history is ridiculous.

Didn't Spieth finish 4th here last year, and also win the national championship in college here?
Obviously, not a lot of value in him, but just wondering.

I don't see why people bet on golfers before the first round. The value comes in the 2nd or 3rd round. If you like Spieth just wait so long as he's not within 3 shots in the 2nd round you'll get much better odds. Not to mention it's pretty normal for someone to play lights out on day 1 increase your favorite golfers odds, and then fade on day 2 or 3.
(This strategy did bite me in the arse last Masters)

I've got a long history of success with full tourney matchup bets and RD4 plays but to each their own.

I bet on 1st round matchups a lot of the time. Phil has been killing it in the 1st round recently.
