#9 at Kiva Dunes. Blind water right and at the end of the fairway 280 to hazard stakes straight away. Decent breeze in our face. I get up and shoot a piercing 3 wood 1 foot short of the hazard stakes dead ahead. Nice 280 yd 3 wood.

Then I put it in the bunker on the right side of the green. The exact thing you don't wanna do. Unless you can get up and down like a boss for par. Started bogey double and then railed out 7 straight pars on the front 9.

It hasn't been mentioned in this weeks thread, but Net played the best round of golf I've personally seen. He took the lead of the entire group on the 2nd hole and never lost it. This was from the tips and Lakewood was soaked.

The first ever GB Round of the Week goes to NET.

I really wanted to play Saturday, but after changing my girlfriends flat tire that morning I didn't go back outside for the rest of the day. frick this hot arse weather.

You get out there at all?

Tiki is this week. So pumped. Should have the course peaking perfectly for the tournament.

First big tournament I've played in. We got a shot to go low. Everyone of us knows the course inside and out. Our ginger can bomb it off the tee.

The island has some deals open

If I had to take a positive from Sunday it was that I felt like that was about as bad as I can play and turn in an 86 from the tips of a course I only played once before almost 2 years ago. I don't remember hitting a shot that I thought felt great. Probably my 50 deg on that par 3. Probably my only legit birdie putt all day.

That was my game on Saturday.

79 net is still a sob.
