A couple of weeks ago it was $99. They punched after we played. Then dropped it to $79.

Looks kinda wet this week.

You see what I said about the greens? Buddy said the hot weather snuck up on them after aerification. Didn't keep enough water on them.

Glad you liked the place. I need to check it out. They are pretty big course for the turf industry in the SE.

Yeah, Almost every putt I hit was short. Being out in the sticks, they don't get much play out there. That family is rich, so this is just a hobby I guess. Not on the same level as Shadow Creek that Wynn built. That was ego and tons of money.

Went really well, corrected a lot of things in 2 hours. Just haven't had a lot of time to practice the changes, been out of town for work. Going to get some hacks in this week to get more comfortable.

Change of topic to call on the golf board gurus. Ive been playing golf for about three years. I've had the Callaway Razr x NG irons for about a year with the stock uniflex shafts. My swing has gotten more efficient and my swing speed has increased to about 100 mph on my driver. The past couple of months I've been hooking or pulling my irons a lot and just figured it was a swing flaw, which it partly may be. However, this weekend I hit some Mizunos that were equipped with DG S300 and I was hitting them a lot straighter and higher than my Callaways.

My question is: does anyone know exactly what the unifiex shaft flex is rated or can be compared to these days? In doing some research, there is a lot of conflicting info and it seems that Callaway may change the flex rating In the uniflex from year to year. I'm wondering if I should upgrade the shafts in my current irons or not. Thanks in advance!

Any driver recommendations for the 4 or 5 times a year player?

I'm interested in the the modern large head drivers but obviously I don't need a high dollar club because I don't play that much.

How much do you play? Uniflex I'm pretty sure is stiffer than regular but not quite at stiff. Calloway is one of only a handful that put those in stock, and they should be shot for it.

Go with the stiff if you were hitting them better, but get a pro to look at you before you buy the wrong thing. What's your swing speed?

Thanks Weave! I probably play on average twice a month. But for the past couple of months, I've been able to play nine every week and practice at the range once a week. I went to a Ping Demo day a month ago and was fitted for stuff flex. My driver swing speed is around 100 and my 6 iron is around 75.

Just go to a shaft maker site like True Temper and fool around with their shaft-fitting tool

You should try to have shafts that at least reasonably match your swing speed

Anything stock that is even remotely less than standard stiff is likely to be garbage if your swing speed is 100+
