Shitty shot selection and getting destroyed on the glass, again equals GS heading home.

The comment I responded to said Westbrook plays defense, implying Curry doesn't. You don't lead the league in steals by not playing defense.

Waiters is a completely diff player in OKC than he was in Cleveland. Way better attitude, effort, and is much more of a team player.

He must have really hated played with Lebron, Kyrie, and TT

Says the guy who said the league leader in steals doesn't play defense.

Just noticed Andre Robertson had 17 points. That's his season high.

I know that.

James Harden averages 1.7 steals per game, 16th in the entire NBA

Get my point?

a. that comment was not fully serious

b. Mr. Westbrook plays vastly superior defense b/c he hustles a lot more than steph. therefore, Mr. Westbrook showing emotion is less of a big deal. he also takes a lot of shite for playing with emotion when things don't click. he has for years. curry never gets the hate Mr. Westbrook does

If you're really going to compare Harden's defense to Curry's, I'm done with this subject with you.

No. Not comparing the 2. You're just not understanding my point. At all.

Man, OKC is playing possessed. They're fun as hell to watch right now. Ever since Westbrook said earlier in the playoffs that he had to change his approach, he's been money.

Weirdly enough, this series could still easily go seven IMO. But only if GS plays like GS. Hell, as bad as they played tonight, thy had cut it to seven points in the third. They need three great games in a row. But if anybody is capable of doing that, it's them. The main concern is the lack of heart/effort. That's not like them, but something is clearly wrong with Curry (more than just being tired from tight defense, which OKC is definitely doing well). And this team feeds off of him, and they aren't playing D, not trying for rebounds, not diving for loose balls, etc. At this point, OKC just seems to want it more.

I do wish the games were closer though. Blowouts aren't as fun. As much as I'd like to see GS win because it would make history, I'd be glad to see OKC win and Durant get his ring.

I know exactly what you're trying to do. You're using an outlier to try to create solidified point. Go down the list of steals leaders and I can guarantee you the vast majority of them are above average defenders. Curry is not physically equipped to play the kind of defense Westbrook does. So faulting him for that is ridiculous.

curry plays D, much better D than in the past

but he doesn't have the physicality to consistently D-up guys and they want his energy on offense so he doesn't exert top effort to ensure he doesn't get ground down and he watches passing lanes. he does what harden does, but on a much higher level

westbrook is on another level. you don't get as many steals if you (1) D up your guys hardcore and (2) need energy for offense

I agree with that.

But I think what the other posting was saying in regards to Westbrool celebrating is that people will tolerate it more when you're routinely guarding the other teams best guard and always does is with intensity

Nobody is winning a game 7 in Oakland, OKC better close in 6. The Warriors will hit about 25 threes if it goes 7.
