Not worth derailing the thread 14 years later, just take it
i would gladly take it if people didnt just gloss over the fact that the kings absolutely benefited from bullshite in that series as well

I could be remembering wrong, I thought he claimed the series in general was rigged because the NBA desperately wanted to avoid a Sacramento/New Jersey Finals which would have been a ratings disaster. SA/NJ happened the next year and about 9 people watched

his claim, in regards to the 2002 WCF, was that it was rigged by the NBA to force a game 7 because they wanted that series, which had been an all time great playoff series, to go 7 to get as much interest in it as possible. i think the terms he used was that there were two refs who wanted a game 7 and that he knew they were company men and that they called the game to make it happen

theres really some interesting shite in that court document that doesnt just pertain to that series. he goes all the way back to 2000 iirc

Hot take Kenny Smith.

Kenny won't ever say anything profound.

Curry is getting GS killed on D. If he get switched onto Westbrook or Durant GS is having to send a double and OKC is just picking it apart. OKC's entire gameplan is to force Curry to guard bc he's just flat bad on D.

if you think curry is some kind of good defender, then go for it.

he and the warriors will continue to get fricking worked on defense in this series.

98 vikings are one of the greatest nfl teams I've seen in the past 20 years but no way were the chargers.

despite the results of the super bowl, the 07 pats are the best nfl team of the last 20 years

The Chargers were filthy that year. 11 Pro Bowlers and they lost by a combined 6 points on the road to playoff teams (13-3 Ravens and 10-6 Chiefs).
