Interesting stats, but there is no way I'll believe that there has ever been a better defense than the 1985 Bears. In the playoffs that year, teams could not move the ball against them at all. They thoroughly dominated play.

Carolina's defense is getting so overlooked too. They thoroughly dominated Denver's offense.

Carolina had a damn fine defense, but what they did to Denver's offense isn't impressive considering everyone did that to Denver. What Carolina did to Arizona was much, much more impressive.
