I am still not sure what your point is. Are you trying to say the Western Conference isn't respected because the Spurs are good? You do realize that the Eastern Conference has been historically bad this year right?

But the media in this country is located on the Eastern Seaboard so those teams all get more exposure

Even though the Knicks blow they still get treated like an elite team

This guy gets it.

Eastern conference playoffs are going to be boring as shite until the ECF unless the Heat matchup with the bulls and even then it might be boring.

Western conference playoffs are going to be wild. So many good teams in the west this year.

Huh? Who in East besides the Heat gets more exposure than the Spurs, Clippers, Thunder, Rockets, or the Warriors?

They are in the biggest market in the country. It isn't like anyone considers them a contender.

So what you're saying is that the media covers the largest media markets? Fascinating

As a Spurs fan, I don't care about exposure anymore.

Just enjoying the team right now. That's enough for me.

No teams in the west get the respect they deserve except the lakers when they are good. The Spurs are on a 19 game win streak and you hardly see it on espn. If it was the heat, Knicks, nets, etc that would be all espn is fricking talking about

They got a shite ton of talk nationally and respect when they won 20 in a row (10 straight in the playoffs) back in 2011.

Spurs success is almost expected at this point they've been good for so long.

Won't last forever, though. Just hoping for one more Larry for this group.
