I mean Ashe don't seem to be much more expensive so probably those because I want to at least see Serena or one of the elite male players.

Although I can imagine nosebleeds are terrible

It's where I sat last night. It's really not that bad. Just go watch some stuff on the side up close and personal and then go watch some better players in the nose bleeds. It's worth the experience.

19 year old Korean dude took Stan to three tiebreaks. That is pretty impressive.

Apparently, Sock just retired up two sets to one. People saying he basically passed out from exhaustion.

Is this the day Isner falters? I just do not understand him or his effort. I get he is trying as hard as he can, but he just seems to be so lifeless out there and flames out, especially if he gets down early.

Makes you wonder why they don't have the heat rule in place for the men too?

And on that note when we would know what matches will be Friday before I spend a lot on tickets.

Serena and Rafa have the night matches tomorrow.

I've been watching the Young match on the computer and Murray on the TV. Murray is letting stupid crap bother him, and Mannarino is playing some pretty solid tennis. Young's up a break in the third right now. Tied at 1 set all.

Thx for the info. I think the conditions are causing freaky things to happen. I hope the D Young pain train can get a win. I always felt bad for the kid that he got so overhyped.

more on the Sock retirement here: LINK

quote:

Sock won the first two sets comfortably, 6-4, 6-4, but Bemelmans began serving better and forced a fourth set. With the Belgian leading 2-1, Sock -- who had been visibly cramping beforehand -- went down. Witnesses said his eyes rolled back in his head.

Yep. It was really bad three years ago when he had one of the worst seasons I've ever seen on the tour. Can't believe Querry and Johnson beat the Bryan brothers last night.

I just have a hard time feeling sorry for these guys when I played with the court temps around 115 every summer of my life.

Isner up a break in the 3rd right now before a potential ultimate serve bot match up.

Eta: Donald up a break in the 4th.

Yeah and it's pissing me off, Caroline is by far my favorite on the WTA. She's a phenomenal person.

For some reason, I have a feeling that your level of play was a few notches below these guys.

i don't get why they are hammering her so hard. because she's never won a major in Serena's era? Jesus, that's just tough. She didn't hit number 1 for over a year by being a shite player.
