Me too, unfortunately with 30 miles between us that will never happen. But I still support all my state schools and with friends who play football for both ULM and ULL I was just cheering for who was on offense at the time when they were playing.

I don't care that y'all turned down a bowl. I just find funny that y'all will not play us. It would be great for both schools. But oh no tech is just so much better.

Regarding your comment about no "butthurt" Tech Fan, I would disagree. I'm positive Mr. Richard Wright of Advocare is not very happy and he is a Tech Alum.
I don't have a dog is this ULM v. tech back in forth, but I will call out factual misinformation when I know it is false. I have no idea what was being said "around campus" as I'm not a student, or live in Ruston and i'm in my 40s. The fact is that Bruce (Tech AD) got a dressing down from the commissioners of both the WAC and CUSA for certain comments to bowl officials (and just not the I-bowl). Further, Tech wanted in I-Bowl on Thursday night, no matter the opponent.
Good luck to Tech to the bowl game they do get into, but the AD PO'd some people and it will bite him in the future and could hurt Tech, which I don't want see for the sake of the players and the students.
