My opinion is that he inherited well from Bustle; and he had a decent Mississippi recruiting niche early (both JC and high school), but it withered away for some reason. He also had one recruiting class that had 6 or 7 really solid 3 star players from Florida, and not one of them ending up qualifying.

Hudspeth had the best few years in school history with those NOLA bowl victories. I guess they are just regressing back to reality
