Yeah, I hate that they are sacrificing Holm so early. No one can beat Ronda, but if Holm was a little more battle tested she might last a few rounds.

I am actually glad Miesha didn't get the fight. It effectively extends her career. Another loss to Ronda and she is officially relegated to gatekeeper status. I do want her to get another crack at Ronda, just not now.

It's always sad seeing a fighter who has lost their chin keep fighting. It happens to way too many fighters with the best examples being Chuck Liddell and Big Nog.

Gotta disagree slightly though. I don't think Big Nog lost his chin. His reflexes, reaction-time, and any previous athleticism certainly diminished.
Hendo needs to retire asap though. I want to see Rockhold beat Weidman, then have a rematch against Vitor.
Eta: I realize he's not next in line though (jacare/romero winner). I'd love to see Vitor vs. any of the top10 MWs though. Bisping, machida, Hall, Mousasi, etc

Don't know if the Reebok stuff had anything to do with it, but a couple of days ago I was reading that he was unhappy with them for not allowing this Croatian checkerboard pattern on his fight shorts.

With the exception of Ronda and McGregor, I think all of the UFC fighters are very pissed about the Reebok deal. Tim Kennedy claims that it is costing him six figures per fight to lose the private sponsors...thus, he says it is very likely he will not fight again. Said it is not worth it to risk his health when he is a prize fighter with no real prize money to fight for...
