I would dig that. BTW here is some stuff Uncle Dana just said:

quote:

White said the UFC offered the fight to Frankie Edgar and that Edgar turned it down, citing an injury. White said that ex-featherweight champion Jose Aldo also turned down the bout when offered.

"When we told Conor, he said, 'Come on! This [expletive] guy! Oh my God! He's pulling out?' " White said. "But when we went through the options, he said he'd fight any of them.

"I swear to God, he said, 'I'll fight anyone.'
He just doesn't give a [expletive]. People talk about this strained relationship between us and Conor, and he has a different style than I've ever seen, but I have never seen anyone like Conor. The closest was Chuck Liddell, but we've never had one like Conor. You think he's not hurt? But when he says he's going to fight, he's going to fight no matter what."

quote:

All of these managers are out there jockeying and they say they want to fight Conor. You hear these guys screaming, 'Conor, Conor, Conor,' but then when it comes time to take a fight, they turn it down and they're hurt."

and also this which is just

quote:

White said the fight will be at 155 pounds but that he is not sure whether or not it will be for an interim championship.

Maybe Conor will get that 5th belt!

I mean yeah, weed should be legal and all but you shouldn't be talking all over social media about how you're gonna still smoke even after popping 3 times in Las Vegas of all places (the one place you don't fail a test).
Nick was a big baby after the Condit and GSP fights too.

Unless you retire at your peak EVERYONE losses toward the end it is meaningless.

Fedor is far and away the greatest Mixed Martial Artist ever. When he beat Minatauro and Cro Cop they were pretty much unanimously considered top 5 P4P fighters in the world. It wasn't just that he beat them it was how he beat them, Cro Cop was considered P4P the highest level striker Fedor beat him on his feet, Nogueira was considered the highest level grappler Fedor out grappled him.

It shows how weak the division is now because guys Fedor beat way back when are top 10 HWs now

Fedor should've retired at 32 like GSP did, then his only "loss" would be to TK (which he avenged anyhow).

Why? He's not taking much damage he made a ton of money in those fights. Anyone with a brain realizes that his losses are meaningless.

And in all likelyhood GSP will comeback and get a few losses too.

Yea the same morons shite on Matt Hughes, Chuck Liddell and in 10 years they will shite on Connor because basically every one takes bad losses at the end.

Verlanderbeast please stop making good points. It really confuses me. I want the old Verlanderbeast back, the one who made no sense and drank the duck butter off of Rorys balls.

MMA was WAY weaker back then as far as quality opponents, although Prides HWs were probably better than UFCs current HWs due to major juicing, and Pride was fixed so who knows who really was the best. I do know they all sucked when they came to the US though. As far as him retiring too late that is BS, it's become obvious these days that a HWs prime comes after 30 and lasts until his mid-late 30s. Regardless when Fedor comes to the US and is in his heavyweight prime age and gets destroyed in 3 straight it makes you think he was either juicing big time, the fights were fixed or they weren't that good over there....and before you say he didn't look like he juiced I agree but you can't tell by only looks. No matter what the answer is he can't be the GOAT if any of those are true.

He was 33-34 when he lost 3 in a row, including one to a guy who is a MW. I just looked at the top 15 UFC HWs and only ONE is under 33 and that is JDS who is 32. The champ is 38 and the average age is over 35.

Age isn't what is important Fedor had over 40 fights vs the best HWs in the world and began his career fighting 5x a year

It just shows that the best athletes still haven't gravitated to MMA, hopefully that will change soon.
