UCLA only started school a week or two ago since it's on quarters. Easier just to pull the plug now.

maybe in the late rounds

clearly there have been guys drafted the missed whole seasons (Bradford, Mathieu) are just 2 examples, so Mora's statement is not accurate. I can't say he is making a mistake, but it does seem like staying and rehad while on the schools dime is not a bad plan, he better be very disciplined if does go on his own.

Ehh, not really.

He doesn't get another chance to prove he's healthy (by foregoing his SR year) except for the combine which is going to hurt him. If he comes back, he could get hurt again.

Just saying there are risks in any decision. I don't blame him for doing what he's doing though.

I'm definitely not concerned with what Mora has to say on the situation though, of course he wants him back.

Antonio Cromartie got drafted 19 overall without playing his junior year, coach.

How do you know it's a mistake? You know him? Know his family? Know what's going into the decision?

Well, to be fair, you could say the same for people that agree with his decision.

It's his opinion...

well, Mora has revealing himself to be selfish, petty, and cowardly with a statement like that.

this is the kind of thing opposing coaches are going to use to negatively recruit against him in a big way.

I think it is the best thing for him to do. He can go to IMG in Florida, have great ATC , Nutrition, Medical staff, along with great coaching for combine.

Fournette is a lock top 10 player if he left school today and entered the draft from a talent perspective.

However, owners could get together and not draft him so that they do not ruin the farm league, aka the NCAA. The NFL gets all the benefits are sees none of the cost.

The NFLPA would fight Fournette coming out tooth and nail. They bargained the rules and they want to protect what they got. Jack could have come out this year I believe.

Disagree. I think he's shown enough talent already to get drafted in the earlier rounds.
If he stops playing now with no injuries and no character issues, I don't see any plausible scenario where Fournette is still available in the later rounds.

if the draft was next week perhaps, but if he literally sat out the remainder of this season and all of next season, come draft day in late April 2017, the 2015 highlights will be long forgotten and replaced with concerns over a guy that sat out to preserve himself as being selfish, not in football shape etc.

because a) not playing football for 2 years over concerns about getting hurt will be viewed as a "character concern" and b) at this moment in time we do not have the highlights and tape of other guys at other positions from the 2016 season that we will in april of 2017

Myles Jack is out for the year with a knee injury...how is this "shitty of him"?

I think he is actually being responsible for his future and it allows for him to go see people of his choosing for rehab.

By fans maybe.

Scouts don't forget a guy whose main 2 comparisons are Hershel Walker and Adrian Peterson.

By scouts? Or fans/talking heads?

Unless we have a crop of running backs with Adrian Peterson hype, I don't think this matters.
