Some fellow rednecks, like yourself, in the office have the same mindset, but most people just laugh. UCLA is a very likable team and it shouldn't be tarnished because a player's Dad is annoying.

I'm not going to root against the kids just because the dad is a douche

Lonzo Ball is everything this board claims to like, a good hardworking, unselfish player who doesn't even talk much at all.

Nah, can't stand the dad, but Lonzo, whether because of or in spite of his father's actions is one hell of a kid. He is someone you want on your team. I will root for that kid any day. I wouldn't hesitate to have him on my NBA team as I am sure that no one is going to give Lavar near the platform to talk once its the nba and the season is so long. Right now they are just trying to squeeze all of the ratings out of him they can.

TL;DR
Lonzo's class> Lavar's doucheness

The sky is the limit for Ball.

The best guard in the draft plays for Kentucky though. Fox is going to be insane with his ability to penetrate and score; his length and ability to defend is very good too.

I personally like Fox over all guards in this draft.

This isn't that out there, Fox may turn out to be the best, I like Fultz, Smith and Ball a bit more tho. This draft class is ridiculously talent at the top, should be a few All-Star in this one.

I don't mind his dad at all. Like I saw the other day on Twitter.. lots of these kids either don't have dads or have dads that don't give a shite about them. And we are supposed to be upset because this dad is so fully supportive of his kids?

Nah, I tend to not wish ill will to teenagers because of how their fathers act. It's part of that whole thing where I'm not an arse hole, it fits in that category.

The fat bro is the only son that is over hyped. The other 2 can ball.

You truly can't go wrong with any of them.

I do NOT like Fultz. I saw him play 4 times and I just don't think he has as much NBA ability than Fox or Ball. I have only seen highlights of Smith. I won't make a comparison there.

I don't think the father being supportive of his sons is what upsets people.

To answer the op, I have never seen or heard the ucla ball do anything that would make me dislike him. I just ignore the father. I don't know much about the other brothers other than a couple of highlights shared on social media.

Why would you wish that on a college kid? He's a good ball player, he carries himself well, doesn't get in trouble and Steve Alford speaks pretty highly of him. You seem petty and immature. Maybe you're the one that needs the reality check.

Steve Alford

He is more of a reason to pull against UCLA than the Ball family IMO.

What specifically about Lonzo Ball makes you feel like he needs a reality check?

I'm wondering how long before moron Lavar says something that causes the NCAA to investigate UCLA
