Tech helped Grambling out by paying for ULM's football field? You're even more confused than I though msutiger the tech fan.

So let's see. In the past couple years LATech has turned down a bowl bid to avoid playing ULM, hired an AD that ULM would not even interview (even after being approached by the candidate), and now the ex-president of the alumni association significantly supports ULM athletics. There is something going on in Ruston.

In the short time Tommy McClelland has been at Tech, we have installed a brand new basketball court. We have installed a brand new 1.2 million dollar video board in the Thomas Assembly Center and have finally gotten the South Endzone Project underway.
Sounds like ULM was stupid for not giving this guy a chance.

It's business to support the school in your locality...I would say business persons SHOULD support the local school. So if he lives in Monroe, I say good for him. Universities add an immense amount of culture, quality of life, and provide ready-made employees....support your local College and U!

I think it's quite humorous that you can't have a UL-L thread w/out mentioning Tech.
This ex-Prez of Tech's alum Association sounds like a real douche. Supposedly, this chode wanted the Tech AD job & got pissed when it wasn't offered to him. I find it interesting that he will be running for political office again around Funroe area.
