That is a sh&t ton of empty seats for an opening home game . What's the reasoning behind this? This has to be some what demoralizing to the players .

It's sad. This is basically the biggest football game they've had in 10 years (still undefeated/national televised game in new stadium/ACC team).

I walked through Tulane's campus today. You would have never known that they were hosting the first game of the season tonight.

2. The stands look fairly full except for the rich seats (behind the Tulane bench) and those ppl are there they are just watching from that badass club section they have.
3. Tulane doesn't care, they have already sold those seats so they got their money and that is all Tulane cares about (insert Jewlane joke here).

They don't have a lot of fans, just a small, very vocal group that buys most of the season tickets and can't even give them away.

Brazos, I was wondering the same thing. CUJO will walk after this year. Duke is a decent team in a major conference and this is what that poor excuse for a fan base can do? The buzz last year was the new stadium, same for Turchin. Cleary And Johnny Bright get more fans at a Dixie Youth or a jamboree at Muss Bertolino

But the only reason why they had 600 fans at their games was because they didn't have a cozy neighborhood stadium!
