True, and if I don't see Curry chewing on that mouthpiece ever again, I will be happy as a queer climbing a peter tree.

Gotta give this to Durant or LeBron imo.

Steph is the best shooter. Steph is not the best overall offensive player.

interesting argument. i think curry is the best shooter, has either the best or the second best handles (behind/tied with kyrie) and is one of the best passers. this equates to me to be the best overall offense.

i'd back off given the points assists lebron put up though. that's fair. other than that, maybe harden?

I'd give that to Durant.

I would say LeBron is the best player in a team ball offense. He can drive and score at will, but is also always looking to get the rest of the team involved. He can shoulder the load better than anyone else, but he's not a ballhog in any sense of the word.

Durant is the best scorer in the league. Only (?) player to win the scoring title while shooting 50/40/90. He's not going to facilitate like LeBron or Curry, but if I need a guy to dig me out of a hole and just get buckets give me KD all day every day.

Curry is the best shooter who can straight up murder a team if his team's offense is clicking and he's getting good looks. Steph can turn a tie game into a 12+ point lead in about 1:30 of game time.

odds say true, but i think they are certainly capable of winning another.

a lot of aging teams & impending free agents in the West. San antonio, dallas, memphis, portland, OKC.

they are the one sure thing at this point. Maybe Houston or LAC can threaten them with another move, but im not sure they have the bullets to do so.

The answer is definitely true. Curry is vastly overrated. If you put him on an average team, you would never hear of him.

Congrats. You posted the dumbest post I've ever seen on this board.

Clippers need depth.

Obviously the overall talent on the clippers was >>>> This finals cavs team, but they were also playing a 7 man rotation throughout the playoffs. They were gassed at the end of games in the 2nd round.

Doc the GM has fricked that team.

I think it's false, yes the west is loaded but let's dig deeper....
Spurs are an old team, they are done.
As constructed, Memphis is a nice team but they have trouble scoring and they won't make the finals.
Oklahoma City when healthy is a legit threat, but neither Westbrook or kd could be there in a few years.
Clippers and the rockets are similar, nice talent but just mentally weak. The fact that Cleveland fared better against GS than Houston did is somewhat alarming.

I definitely don't see the warriors making the finals every year, but as long as they keep their core together they will be one of the top 2 or 3 favorites every season.

I'd say its true, just based on the odds, but I wouldn't be surprised if they win one more. They are a great team.

But they also had EVERYTHING go there way this year, and they won't be able to keep that roster together forever.

True. They're going to lose assistants and they will never get that kind of injury luck again.

The injury luck really only helped them in the finals. Even at 100% healthy memphis just doesn't have the horses to score with GS, and Houston still had their 2 best players, yet lost 4-1. The only real argument is that if OKC was healthy all year then they could have potentially met somewhere in the playoffs. But that means the whole playoff picture is different, and GS wouldn't have played memphis, houston and okc. As constructed now, a healthy OKC team is probably the biggest challenge to GS in the west, but if they lose either durant or westbrook than that changes.

If you think Alvin Gentry was the key to their success than I'm really not sure what more can be said.

Unless Klay Thompson elevates his play to All Star level in the playoffs...probably true.

If he plays like he does in the regular season in the playoffs...then they have a good chance. But they got lucky they faced a depleted Cavs team. Because Klay was straight arse and Iggy and Curry picked up the slack

Teams don't stay completely healthy and then play teams full of hurt players. It just doesn't happen. You can downplay Gentry all you want but there's a reason Kerr went with a smaller paycheck and a higher assistant pool. He's going to keep losing those assistants and then we'll see how he copes.

Warriors were a great team, don't act like a baby when advantageous situations are pointed out.

They may win one more, but won't be a dynasty
