The helmet rule is stupid. You let them wear different jerseys, but not different helmets?!?!

The idiocracy of the NFL.

You can be original and creative. But only on Thursday. And every October. But if you wear pink when we don't say you can, YOU WILL BE FINED. If you wear a different color undershirt, YOU WILL BE FINED. If you wear a different color shoe than your teammates, YOU WILL BE FINED. If you want to wear high-top black shoes to pay tribute to Johnny Unitas after he dies, YOU WILL BE FINED.

So fricking fascist, I swear.

Fascist? No it's capitalist and protecting their vendors.

You can't be breaking your contracts.

Dolphins wore bright orange uniforms in 2002 and 2003. I like bright colors though. Would have been even better if the Dolphins wore their teal uniforms and the Bengals wore orange.

Thought tonight's were bad but check out the ones the Seahawks will be wearing later this year.. Looks like they're about to ride in the tour de France or something

No, I agree. It's ridiculous. A guy can't pay tribute without getting fined. He can't show individuality. You can do what ever you want to support or protest something, as long as it's not part of your uniform.

And they could just as easily have the "vendors" produce the alternate helmets or anything. They are just being the hard asses that the NFL is known for being under Goodell.

He's a frickin dictator. One set of cleats honoring Unitas or some eye black with a message on it is not going to break the contracts. Stop it.

I read or heard somewhere a while back that they claim the helmet rule is because they're specially fitted at the start of the year. I'm sure they'd try & spin it as some concussion prevention.

All hats are specifically fitted. You adjust to air and preference. That is just a bs line. It sounds like its a cost saver more than anything.

LSU for example, you wear a hat all week until Thursday Friday get your game hat. Then the next week it becomes your px hat. The original px hat becomes your game hat for the following week. They check hardware snaps, fittings, bladders, valves the week it is not in use.

It's safer to have multiple hats.

Also if NFL was truly concerned the VSR that Bree's and Brady wear would be outlawed. They do not make that hat anymore.

Are you actually trying to act like it aint weird youre calling them hats?

I actually like the orange Fins jerseys, but pairing them with orange pants is overkill.

Act like what? When you give out/post the practice or px schedules it will tell you shorts/hats/ shells/full.

I don't understand what you are trying to insinuate?

No one calls them that colloquially. You are trying to seem all insidery or something.
