I'm a cowboys fan and will admit the hated steelers are a first class organization. Best in the league

Only 4 coaches have done what he's done. Winning consistently is so hard to come by in the NFL. And when you look at what that team has been through (suspensions, injuries, turnover on defense bc of old guard moving on), it's impressive.

No he's not a perfect coach and he does make some bone head calls, but if you can win more than you lose, you're doing a whole lot better than most teams.

I get all that. But I think I have a pretty good handle on a similar comparison with Richt. Now OBVIOUSLY tomlin has won the big dawg which richt never did, and the NFL is the highest level of football on the planet, so you don't have to tell me that it isn't apples to apples. Because I know. But Richt has a bushel of "he's 1 of only [x] coaches to..." records. He averaged 10 wins a season over the first 15 years of his head coaching career in the toughest league in CFB. He was a guy that would consistently be just good enough, and for that reason many people wanted to give him a lifetime contract. But it simply wasn't enough because he never won BIG enough.

Again, I know tomlin has a SB. I'm not saying he shoudl be fired. I'm not saying he's bad. I'm not saying he's anything! All I AM saying, is that simply not having a 7-9 season on your resume isn't a good reason to keep someone around.

Arians is an opinion of course.

Reid is undeniably better, he's just a moron with the clock.

If you can give reasons why, you will receive an internet pat on the back.

It is funny, he wins a game and people crown him and then he loses one and people on here call for his head

Funniest thing I read during the LSU head coach search was that we should throw 7 million at Mike tomlin and he'll come here

Maybe it's hubris but I feel like I'm a cut above the inbreds on that board that think we could've gotten Tomlin, Harbaugh, or Jack Del rio
