He's a douche but a very underrated Head Coach he picked up right where Cowher left off.

One of my favorites lines by Tomlin. When asked before the game to assess it he said. "It's a violent game and the most violent team will win".

Great coach.

I don't have anything of value to add here but just want to point out that simply not having losing seasons isn't the sole reason that someone shouldn't be canned.

He's not a top 5 coach, but he's better than average.

It's the family business, that's why.

He also coaches for the Greatest Professional Sports Franchise on Earth. You can be successful with competent support from your front office.

Only 4 coaches have done what he's done. Winning consistently is so hard to come by in the NFL. And when you look at what that team has been through (suspensions, injuries, turnover on defense bc of old guard moving on), it's impressive.

No he's not a perfect coach and he does make some bone head calls, but if you can win more than you lose, you're doing a whole lot better than most teams.
