I really, I really hope Belichick continues to coach past Brady's departure from the League so we can test this theory.

random trivia question:

who has been fired from more NFL jobs, Brady or Bill?

So you assume Seattle scores if they run it? Makes sense.

So you missed the point? Makes sense.

The point is that your entire viewpoint is based off of giving Brady the entirety of the credit for those superbowls. It's what the logic that your position relies on. That includes giving brady credit for the seahawks not running the ball and for butler making the interception. Because all credit belongs to Brady for winning another superbowl.

Maybe he is the best ever. The championship argument is stupid though and will always be stupid no matter how many he wins, especially in a sport that relies so much on team play as football.

One argument that this win probably proves though is that Brady and Belichik are the best quarterback coach combination of all time.

but they didn't. And we have no way of knowing if they would have scored.

That's not the point. I'm only saying that its silly to crown the guy based on the outcome.

Pregame public opinion:
If Brady (Patriots) win, he is the best qb ever.
If Seattle wins, Brady isn't the best ever yet.

^^^ Doesn't really make sense.

You just happened to leave out Deion Branch who won MVP one of those years...

Brady brought them from down 10 in the fourth against the best defense in the league. A lucky arse bounce turned into a catch which brought Seattle to the goal line. They shouldn't have even been in scoring position, so the call is irrelevant. Ball don't lie and they got the pick.

He also threw the ball over 50 times.

Threw for 4 TD's and nearly 350 yards vs the Seattle Defense that absolutely cock-slapped Manning last year. And Manning BY FAR had the better targets to throw to (or hand off to).

1 of only 3 to win 4 rings.

And the other two, Bradshaw and Montana never got to the Super Bowl outside of those 4 wins. Brady went to 2 additional Super Bowls.

In those 2 losses, Tom's Patriots lost by three and four points respectively.

He's alone, whether you hate him or not.

100% winning > 66%.

Fact: Offense:Defense is 1:1 in NFL. I didn't see Brady anywhere on the field when the game was won, did you?

Fact: The score was 24-14 Seattle going into the 4th quarter.
Fact: Tom Brady was 13-15 with 2 touchdowns in the 4th quarter.
Fact: That comeback doesn't happen without Brady.

I forgot, what are you going to do, he got paid in seattle and was never any good without brady...he had one good year and one huge game.

does deion branch ruin the point that none of his championships were won with a big time #1 receiver?

It is kind of funny that Brady and the Pats beat the same team that skullfricked Peyton and the Broncos the year before.

tom brady, montana, bradshaw

one of these is not like the other, and never mention as one of best ever. So by using rings as a measuring stick on greatest qb ever, there is a flaw in its own.

Brady consistently wins with different talent around him.

You know how free agency and salary caps work right?

Should have scored more than 17 and 14 points. Without the GOAT kicker Brady wins only 2 super bowl rings.

Not really, its just a silly thing to use as your end all in such debates. Brady had a great 4th quarter and put his team in position to win yesterday. His legacy should not have been affected one way or the other if his D had given up a score there. But because they did not he's the GOAT /debate? It's dumb.
