Bastard children:

Tom Brady(1)

I don't get it. What does that have to do with anything? By all accounts, he has a good relationship with the child's mother and is very involved in his son's life.

I mean, what point are you trying to make here?

ootball is a sport where there will never be a "goat". One player doesnt have near as much impact in a game as in basketball, or hockey.

GOAT arguments in general have become stupid and annoying. and worse people take it so personal. What's funny is with QB's its all about the rings, but not other positions. On this board people have argued Randy Moss is the great WR over Rice, using the logic of the Brady peeps in this thread, you must be stupid or jealous to not call Rice the GOAT over Moss

Would anyone argue Charles Haley > than Lawrence Taylor? I mean 5 > 2 right?

Exactly.

And you can make a good argument that right after QB, a defensive end has the 2nd biggest impact on a game by position.

i dont care what anyone says dan marino is a top 3-5 qb of all time with zero rings. Jim kelly is up there too. Put either on the niners and they have multiple rings.

For what it's worth, people forget how bad Beastmode was in short yardage situations that year. NE also had 6 defensive linemen on the field.

thats not even the point... point is had pats not won that bowl or this one because of those two pass plays it would had not made brady any less good than he is now. Just using "rings" as argument as to why he is great is ridiculous. Had he lost those 2 bowls because of 2 plays he wouldnt had been great or "goat" to some? its just a dumb argument

And i can name numerous qbs with tons of nfl records. Manning, brees, arod... all have tons of records.

or you could ignore a few things

Peytons record vs brady in playoffs (3-2)
peytons record vs brady in af championship games (3-1)

or eli's record vs brady in superbowl (2-0)

its pretty safe to say the manning family owns brady... but none of that fits your argument does it?

Crazy how someone can pick and choose what they want to determine who is better isnt it?

and all you argue is rings... a team award. Same difference, i wasnt even arguing that. I posted that to show you how it sounds saying ring, ring, ring. So like i said

peyton owns brady in playoffs
eli owns brady in playoffs

sorry that doesnt sit well with your arguments
