comical coming from you
Whole bunch of folks up in this thread who fancy themselves knowledgeable about the greatest team sport in human history (and who have probably never done a lot more than play catch in the backyard ) continually demonstrating that they'd be better off joining the Flat Earth Society for all the 'proof' they offer against the GOAT.

but by the AFC Championship Game he was down to his fourth string offensive line; ronkowski (knee strain) Edelman (broken foot), and Amendola (knee sprain) were limited with injuries suffered just weeks before, and his most capable running back (LeGarrette Blount) was out due to a hip injury.
Go figure, that's what we've been trying to tell you for about 7000 pages now and you reject it every time and default to 5 rings!!!
quote:Now you know how Rodgers/Brees/Manning felt for their careers with their defenses compared to Brady's...or you should, but you definitely still don't for some reason.
It's a testament to Brady's greatness that they even had a chance to tie the game at the end. If the Pats are healthy on offense for that game, the Patriots win by two touchdowns.

OK... Brady SUCKS... you feel better now?????
Why would i feel better about such a stupid statement. I've said many times he is one of that all time greats, I'm sorry that you are incapable of understanding an argument that isn't RINGS > anything.
Brady is great and was a big part of the reason his team won 5 SB's, but there are also many others and key plays that if they go the other way, he doesn't win. That's just a fact. My view of him wouldn't change, he's one of time greats if Carroll and Quinn run the ball and NE loses the last 2, but for you and others, it would.

The Patriots finished with almost 100 more total yards (336-244) and 8 more first downs (20-12). Brady threw for 310 yards compared to Manning's 176. The difference in the game was turnovers and a missed extra point.
The Patriots lost that game, the Broncos didn't win it.
In Super Bowl XXXVI the Rams had 427 yards vs 267 for NE, 26 FD to 15
Considering the Rams had a missed FG AND 3 TOs including the pick 6 by Ty Law, sounds like the Rams lost rather than Brady won, thanks for clearing that up.

some people are not capable of having a reasonable discussion and have to result to posting pics because they have nothing else to contribute.
And to hit on what you said... had carrol ran the ball and quinn ran the ball the pats would have lost. Would those 2 plays had made brady any less of a player? no.... but because they both passed and lost it made brady the Goat?
Football is a sport where there will never be a "goat". One player doesnt have near as much impact in a game as in basketball, or hockey. Football and baseball are too much about team. Zero doubt brady is one of the all time greats. And to be in that discussion is all you can really ask.

In all 4 of those instances, some of the deciding factors in the game were made with Brady on the bench.
That's the main difference in our argument vs RollTide, and he still doesn't see it. I am saying Brady is great, argue that he's the GOAT, that's cool. He's no greater today if he had 3, 5 or 7 titles. RollTide is clearly saying something different.
