i have been saying all along that if gerhart was black he was more sought after.. i'm not crying discrimination, but it is just fact.. if you watch his film.. and imagine him being black.. you'd see sure fire first rounder. his size, speed, the way he shifts and catches the ball is all tremendous.

It would be better if Gerhart proved all of this on the field and didn't do it with his mouth. This could comeback to buy him in the arse.

Take 2 minutes and read the article that have linked to the top of this thread. There are multiple NFL GMs who dont even want to give him the benefit of the doubt because he is a white RB.

i agree.. and this is all the more reason why gerhart should be a first rounder. watch his film.. it's all about projections.. he projects to be a beast of a running back.. go back and watch gerharts fiilm and imagine a black guy running with his body and ability. he's got power to go along with speed, his ability to shift and cut, his vision.

To say he's better than Deuce is extremely ignored. Don't get me wrong he's good. But, he shouldn't get ahead of himself.

No, Gerhart believes there are multiple GM's who let race affect him.
Not one guy in the article said anything about him not being good because he is white.
My point is that if he is a 2nd round possibility then just possible he is imagining this racial discrimination against him

THIS is EXACTLY WHAT is wrong with most peoples thinking.. Hester is a fullback that got to start at LSU.. Hester is no Gerhart.. Gerhart is a running back.. What was Hester's position in 2007?
I've seen Gerhart play, I think he can be a great running back. But, to say he should be drafted higher than he is already projected to go is a joke.

I may upset some LSU fans, but Jacob Hester couldn't wear Toby Gerhart's jockstrap. Hester didnt play TB until his Sr season and was always viewed as a fullback up until that point.
Gerhart played TD for Stanford from his freshman through senior year. Kid knows he is good and deserves the best, and I think its crazy for people thinking that he doesnt need to be saying the truth.
THE FACT IS SIMPLE, if Gerhart was Black he would be a top 10 pick. Thus meaning millions of more dollars.
