PTI just said that Toby Gerheart feels that the color of his skin will keep him from being drafted higher than he feels he should.

LINK

I along with Wilbon and Kornheiser all agree with Toby.

What are you guy's thoughts???

i agree, not reverse discrimination..it's discrimination and ignorance...no different than pre-dispositions regarding black and white QBs on this site...too many copy cats scared to think for themselves

I'm black, but I agree that white guys get a bad deal when it comes to playing running back, wr, db. But QB is like that for black guys sometimes. Kid is good, give him a shot. If he were black he would be a 1st rounder. Dude is jerome bettis without the gut

How high does he think he should go? I thought he was projected as 2nd round. That's pretty damn good.

Corrected.

He's not better than C.J. Spiller and he'll be drafted in the 2nd round where he should be. You didn't hear Brian Leonard complaining about race when he came out of Rutgers.

Gerhart compares himself to Deuce and Michael Turner.

How can you even compare the two.

Gerhart was the Heisman trophy runner up, led the nation in Rushing and Tds.

Leonard was the number 2 option for Rutgers.

If you ever get paid more than $0 to play a game, you are overpaid, so I don't have any sympathy for TG. Also, I gotta say that his running reminds me of that of Moose Johnston, Merill Hoge, Mike Alstott, and Larry Bird.

Brian Leonard also wasn't a Heisman Finalist, nor a potential top 2 rounds pick.

Gerhart's season last year dwarfed anything that Leonard did, esp considering the competition.

just because you're a hesiman finalist doesn't make you a 1st round draft pick. He shouldn't go in the first round this year.

****Now if he would have stayed for his senior year I'd say he could have been a top 10 or 15 pick in the 2011 draft.
