TNT is courting Kobe to join Inside The NBA

I hope this happens so bad. A Kobe/Shaq duo would be fantastic television.

Everybody hated on Shaq being on there and now he is the life of the show. Kobe might be excellent on the show. All you can do is give it a shot. Everybody hating on my boy before he ever even gets on the show lol.

Honestly I'd rather see Kobe pull a Brad Daugherty and cover soccer...MLS or Premier.
TNT's crew is excellent and even there secondary guys...Grant Hill, CWebb, Steve Smith,Brent Barry,etc. are awesome.

Barkley is the life of the show.
And I'm as big of a Kobe fan as there is but this just doesn't seem like his thing.

I don't think his personality would fit with the rest of the crew and I think he would want to act like the #1 guy immediately.
Plus adding Shaq was a little different because he has the perspective as an MVP Center.

I just don't see where he fits. Shaq and Barkley play well off each other. Kenny does a good job at getting a few jabs in as well. I would like to here Kobe's take though on NBA matters. I feel like he'd be the most informed of the crew of today's NBA. I always chuckle when Barkely talks about jump shooting teams being shite playoff teams when the Spurs, Heat and Warriors championship teams were in the top five for three attempts iirc.
