Tiger Woods' performance in The Open.

Just read an article that showed Tiger led the field last week in approach shots. Yes, his driver deserted him at times and he couldn't capitalize on those approach shots but one aspect of his game showed improvement. That being said, what do you think his finish will be at The Open:
A. Miss the cut.
B. Finish in the bottom half of the field.
C. Contend or even finish in the Top 20.
A week ago I would have said "A". I would be shocked if he got all of his game together enough to contend. The Open is not a rain-soaked golf course like last week.

He needs to harness his whiteness and return to golfing greatness.

I think he can put together a solid week at that course since he has so many good memories there. Similar to what he did this year at the Masters...few solid rounds and maybe run out of steam on Sunday. When he doesn't try to kill it and plays under control he can shoot well. Gets in trouble when he thinks he can get it out there with DJ and Bubba

60 percent chance of missing the cut, 30 percent chance of making it but not being in contention, 10 percent chance of contending/top 20 finish.

Far to eratic to contend at a place like St.Andrews. Much like this past week, the good will be brought down by the bad...Unless he does Sunday's performance 4 times.
