Damn, a rare time when a non overreaction is wrong

I felt a little something when Paige made the 3 to tie. Mostly because it looked so weird, then dropped. Thought, "wow, can't believe hat worked."

The game winner didn't even register with me. Shot went in, and that was that. I think it was because I knew it was going in. The timing of the pass and rhythm the guy had as he put up the shot was just perfect.

The fact that the NATIONAL CHAMIONSHIP was on TBS is all the proof you need for the sports popularity.

College basketball is pretty much unwatchable. But 90 seconds of one game will give people ammunition to continue to support it.

That was due to the CBS/Turner deal which increased revenue. It will be back on CBS next year and all odd years (TBS will have the even years) through 2024.

The ratings prove that no one cares about college basketball.

I think no LSU fan cares about College Basketball. If the Tigers would have had the season expected then this site would be a whole different tone. College Basketball is still viable watchable and entertaining. I think most of the people who complain about it are like the ESPN edgy haters.

My grammar and punctuation stinks but oh well.

The claims that the one and done has killed college basketball is hilarious.

killing it from a play standpoint? Nah but it is does give the blueblood programs a pretty distinct advantage.

But on the list of things hurting the sport it takes a backseat to some other things.

I saw an article the other day where an NCAA official said not enough fouls were being called, which blew my mind.

I thought i read were the in game attendance was the 2nd highest and even the drop in ratings showed an avg of 17-18 million views and a peak of 22, so, how, exactly is 22 million watching and 73K at the game "no one"?

and if you are posting about something and resort to hyperbole and BS just to run it down, then that indicates that YOU care on some level. If you didn't, you'd just not watch and would even know about it.

You didn't watch last night did you?

The TV ratings for the final game were extremely low. It's in the news today. I (and most of my friends) did not watch for one simple reason. The game was too late at night. I lot of people will not stay up till 11 pm on a weeknight and it's no use to just watch the first half so they skip it.

The one & done rule is an NBA/Players Association rule & is part of the league's CBA. The NCAA has nothing to do with it & has no say so in it. Yea, reducing games is going to happen. It's called MONEY. Less games, less tv money.
