Disagree. The World Cup trophy has an ancient, mythical look about it. It’s a classic design befitting of the biggest prize of the worlds greatest game.

If you look at the design carefully, you will realize it shows two figures holding up the world inside a cup hence "World Cup". It's very a clever design actually.
