The World Cup trophy is small and underwhelming

For the World Cup to be the biggest sporting event in the world, it sure has a small underwhelming trophy.

This was the US World Cup trophy this year:
Seriously there's only one trophy worth still giving out and that's the Stanley Cup because every player on the team gets to own it for a day and take it to the bars and pick-up a harem of chicks and get laid.

The one before the new current one, called the Jules Rimet Trophy was god awful.
What’s even better, you put all that work in to win the world cup, then only get to touch the trophy for about 5 minutes. The trophy doesn’t leave the field and they mail the winning team, a cheap replica that isn’t made out of pure gold. The Rimet trophy was designed to be given to the first team to win 3 world cups, which was Brazil and eventually stolen. Germany has won the new trophy 3 times, but corrupt FIFA didn’t allow Germany to keep it after their 2014 win.
