If he can hang-in there with his backhand then he has a great chance here.

Looks like Stevie and Isner are both heading out. We really need some more good Americans.

Kei was unreal in those last 3 sets.

Dude knows his way around a hard court.

And they're 17 right now. They're coming, and repeatedly mentioning that John Isner and Steve Johnson are less than exceptional will not hasten their arrival.

It appears Kings and Queens is not ready for retirement. It's the Lleyton Hewitt of fade-to-commercial music.

I should have been even bolder.

She has a non-trivial chance of winning this tournament outright.

Nadal's not going to make it past the quarters. He will lose to either Murray, Dimotrov, or Kyrgios, if he manages to win the match before. He's nursing a back injury and is out of shape and doesn't even have the confidence in himself to win the tournament. He said so himself, remember.

I'd like to see Grigor win.

How did Venus do? What event is he in? I've always liked that guy. Very nice dude.

He's in mens doubles. Won first two round matches.

No talk of Madison Keys bending over Kvitova and going to town?

Huge win for Madison! I went to sleep after Isner and Johnson lost, but am freaking pumped she was able to get a W. It's too bad all the Americans are on that one half of the draw, but it does guarantee either Keys or Brengle will make a quarterfinal appearance.

Yeh we were teammates in college, and srill best buds. Technically I was his "coach" for the U.S. open But anyway he won again last night against the 5 seeds and is now in the round of 16. They have a solid chance to make the semis
