NBA SHOWTIME PS1

I still keep the PS2 nearby to break out the game from time to time.

those afternoon games where greatness

Was it just me or did it always seems like every Sunday game was a combination of the Knicks, Bulls and Pacers and a little San Antonio in there just to keep it interesting

Marv Albert and Matt Goukas bringing you that Pacers-Knicks showdown from the Garden, followed by Suns-Rockets at the Summit with Dick Enberg, Bill Walton, and Snapper Jones. And on those glorious triple header days, that 11 am Bulls-Hornets gane has Tom Hammond and the czar of the telestrator himself, Mike Fratello.

My favorite NBA on NBC memory is of Bob Costas going over the weekly highlights to the instrumental of Haddaway's "What is Love" during the pregame shows.

That game was so awesome. I loved playing with the Suns. Rex Chapman and Gugliotta was great combo.

Reminds me of the Magic vs. Suns in the mid 90's when Shaq made the entire goal collapse. I loved those Magic teams.

It should return to CBS.

I've seen the NBA on each of the Big 3, and it was the best on CBS.

LINK

CBS: Oct 1973- June 1990
NBC: Oct 1991- June 2002
ABC: Oct 2002- Present

I loved the NBA on CBS in the 80s

Especially the Sunday double headers
11AM would usually be NYK or Philly at Boston and 2pm would be Houston or PHX visiting the Lakers

Yes, Mike Breen's play by play is mediocre at best.
