Love when when the show Olympic basketball on NBC and they bring back the NBA on NBC theme.

I would settle for the NBA on NBC theme to be brought over to ABC, ESPN, TNT. But that will never happen.
But yes, I miss the NBA on NBC with the old fonts.

The fact the NBA doesn't use this music is sad. There was nothing quite like it to get you hyped for the big game. No point in NBC giving it to someone though even if they did want to use it, which they probably don't.
It's just a good nostalgia feel to hear it.

I just wish ESPN had nothing to do with the league.
The only redeeming part of ANY of the ESPN broadcast are Van Gundy and the PBP guy (sorry name went away- chemobrain
).
Everything else from their graphics to their halftime pregame host to their talking heads about the NBA just suck. It's so bad it stuns me sometimes how bad it is.
I shouldn't be surprised actually.
I'd love a NBC/TNT combo NBA coverage, I prefer NBC over any ABC coverage of anything and TNT is great all the way around in their production of games

Nah their coverage was just fantastic. I would be in heaven if NBC could at least start getting the Sunday afternoon game along with some playoffs
